“Truly I tell you, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven.” (Matthew 18:3)
Most children unto adolescent teenagers are told to, “grow up,” to, “get serious,” to, “make a plan,” and stick with it. The spiritual reality is, that nothing ever goes according to plan. The presentation of Covid-19 during this current pandemic is proving that to a surmountable extent. Then, they who lack the education or experience in spiritual matters are deeply; mentally, emotionally, physically suffering.
Those who understand as the saying goes, that, “everything happens for a reason,” can see through the fog of pain and hurt to a solution, or, that other phrase, to, “the light at the end of the tunnel.” The god, Set, edited and modified to suite modern day churches was combined with other characters such as the light bearer, Lucifer, The Devil, or Satan… So it is, the sheeps who follow and the goats who do not. Greatest Of All Time, when the ship sinks, do you float, or swim, stay, or get off of the boat? We forget that trees go both ways- they grow up, sure, but- grow down. With weak roots, the tree can easily be shaken by the stirrings of change the wind brings, stable as it may be, or abundant in material excesses.
So, the everlasting battle of good versus evil. But yoga is not good, nor is it evil. Yoga is Yoga. Yet, many church goers and Christians believe that the path of yoga is equivalent to a satanic path of self worship; idolization. This couldn’t be further from the truth. When Jesus walked on water, Peter mustered up his faith, focusing on Jesus, was briefly able to do the same. Until he began to become overwhelmed, and doubted. For it is said, yet, “Immediately Jesus reached out his hand and caught him. “You of little faith,” he said, “why did you doubt?” (Matthew 14:31) The point is to focus on hope, and faith…… to have that courageous bravery and HEART of a child, to love, to dream and to wonder…. not to plan, but to trust in that gentle voice and vision of peace and grace. It is easy to give in to external pressure, popularity, and fear. Most persons do. It’s most important to listen to that voice within, the intuition, the gut, the feelings before the mind creates ideas & emotions. It is this what is the pure innocence of the child who (k)nows.
